Has anyone else experienced issues with the KB5041019 and KB504042 updates? After rebooting, the update process was stuck at 94% for about 2 hours. Even after a hard reset, the updates continued to loop without reaching 100% completion. Using the media creation tool, I managed to revert to a previous state to access Windows. However, attempts to update to the latest build using ISO and the media creation tool also got stuck at 84% for 3 hours, with no progress.
After another hard reset, I encountered a black screen with only a mouse cursor visible and could not get a picture. I’ve tried SFC, DISM, and CHKDSK with no success. I haven’t reformatted this PC since Windows 10 was released and prefer not to do so now. It was functioning flawlessly until these updates. The only workaround I’ve found is to hide or ignore these updates.
Any help or additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
