iPhone 5c & W10 problem

I'm unable to see my iPhone when trying to use explorer, that said my iTunes does see it and I can also see it in devices & printers. I've update the diver but still unable to see it in explorer, so I'm unable to transfer my photo's until I short this out, any idea's why this is happening.

A work around. You can download an app from the apple store called AirMore. It makes a wireless connection to your phone and downloads the photos wirelessley. Read the instructions though.

Just a couple of days ago I transferred pictures from an iPad to a Win10 computer. File Explorer did not list a drive letter for the iPad like would be seen with a Thumb drive, just showed the iPad as a device under This PC.
