Hi,

I have just bought a new lenovo Z70 laptop and it has come preinstalled with windows 10. However, it has come filled with tons of bloatware and also a rootkit. I would like to install a fresh copy of windows that is completely free of any kind of bloatware. So how do I proceed to do the installation?

I am not quite sure if the reset option will work as I think they have also corrupted the recovery partition as well with the bloatware.

Thanks in advance.

Create a Windows 10 DVD or flash drive with the Media Creation Tool. Do a clean install, using the key on the bottom side of your laptop (or where ever they put the Microsoft sticker). You'll have to go to Lenovo's website and make sure you download the drivers. I haven't done this with 10 yet, but have done it many times on store bought Windows 7 PC's/laptops.

ps. When you make the Windows DVD/flash drive, make sure you use the same version that's on the Windows sticker, (ie. Home, Pro)
