I can't get sound. Please Help!

Since I upgraded to Windows 10, I have been unable to receive sounds.

I had the same problem. Try updating your sound driver... that fixed it for me.

You have to find out was sound card you have. Most have integrated sound on the the motherboard. What model is your PC?

To update the driver, click the Start button, then Settings, then Devices. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Device Manager. When there, select 'Audio inputs and outputs', then right click on whatever shows for 'Speakers'. Select Update driver software from the popup menu, and then when asked how you want to search for the driver, choose the 'Search automatically' option. Follow the instructions that appear from that point on. Hope that helps.

I was able to finally get sound, by going to msconfig.exe, boot, advanced, change max setting to 3072..... now it has mysteriously disappeared ?? Any ideas ?
