How to import email in windows mail app?

I want to import thunderbird emails into windows mail app. The export goes via a thunderbirds plugin, that part is sorted.

But how to import from file into windows mail?
Can't find it in the menu, not in the help function and googled for half an hour without any relevant hits at all. This must be possible, but how?

First add your Windows live mail account to Outlook. Then add Outlook to windows 10 mail app
