how to display PDF as thumbnails in Explorer

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed and only have to go to the View tab and active the Preview pane then find and click on a .pdf file and it will show in the Preview pane and generally readable although small. It may depend upon having the .pdf file format associated with a specific program/viewer.

If you open "View" on the top bar and then go here
There are several options.
Also
in the "View" again, go to the last item "Options" and under that title, you can see this window. The first item , if unticked, maybe what you are looking for?
