How to disable auto-open File Explorer when smartphone in connected via USB cable?

Whenever I connect my (Android) smartphone via USB cable with my Win10 notebook another File Explorer windows automatically opens and shows the root directory of the just connected smartphone.

How can I suppress this auto-open?

The existing first File Explorer window should be refreshed instead

search autoplay in the search bar on windows then select autoplay settings and turn it off.
