How can I permanently disable or just delete searchapp.exe?

I just checked in task manager this process is consuming too much CPU and RAM. So, can anyone help me in this how can I disable it, permanently?

Hi,

if you open Services > right click "Windows search" > Properties > Startup type, you can select what you want from there (manual is a good choice). If that is is indeed what you mean?. If you don't use Cortana, disable it!. :)

Disabling 'Windows Search' does not prevent SearchApp.exe from running. It's not a part of the same component of Windows. SearchApp.exe is a part of Cortana.
