Hard Drive Failure ID

after performing a diagnostic test I received the following hard drive failure ID's:
9PNC7W-7GU9P0-MFPV6K-60RV03

I'd run something like the free version of Hard Disk Sentinel, or CrystalDiskInfo for more detailed info on what exactly failed. As far as I know, the ID codes are generic.

sounds like the HD ID - by OEM serial which program did you use to get the error. I found your post on HP.
so honestly, run chkdsk c:\ and say yes when ask then reboot so that MS can do a full scan and repair if possible.
you also migh have to run "hard Disk Low Level format" might take a while, but it does set it back to manufacture default (RAW)
then you have to FORMAT to use...
