Hi,

do you have the manual for your computer?, if you do, it should tell you what type of SSD (M.2 ?) you should buy as there are a couple of variants. :)

Go to the Dell support website and look for your model and download a copy. :)

I also bought an enclosure which the wrong SSD I bought fit in but the one in the Dell is shorter - would it still fit in or are there even different enclosures for different M2 SSd's?

Go to the Dell site and enter your details and search for a manual, until that time, I cannot help you if you cannot identify the type of M.2 device you need!. (Change the country and language if you need to!). :)

Are you sure that you have the right model because when I searched the Dell site, it found nothing?. * dell 880-12na Desktop

Nearly it's 880-112na
Please go to the HP website and enter the device name and search for the correct model. When you need help, please make sure that the info about your device that you post is correct so it doesn't waste peoples time. ;)

Change the region if the need arise. ;)

I have a dell 880-12na Desktop and recently bought this SSD to upgrade but its too small to fit the slot:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B087QRVVVH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

How do I ensure I get the right SSD? Looking for 1TB
What you call dell is this https://www.amazon.com/SK-Hynix-256GB-Solid-State/dp/B075QMZ1LC
If that is what you want to replace then any M.2 NVME 2280 SSD will work I suggest these https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-...0&sr=1-1-791c2399-d602-4248-afbb-8a79de2d236f

The other one type in the Name and model number into Google search for details
