Free Windows 10 upgrade notification gone - but no upgrade offered!

I have an HP envy 17 laptop with leapmotion and a few months ago I had the free windows 10 upgrade notification and even reserved my free upgrade. The upgrade was not offered for many weeks and recently I realized that such notification has disappeared from my system tray. I have a perfectly legal version of windows 8.1 that came preinstalled with my laptop.

I have not restored any images or rolled back my system in any way

What should I do to (re)claim my free windows 10 upgrade?
