SOLVED Forum PDF not registered

"Useless shortcut on taskbar will not delete".
Clive Roberts.

I just attempted to open the screenshot posted by Clive Roberts.
When the link is clicked to open, I get a message as follows:
C:\Users\Norton\AppData\Local\Temp\Screenshot for Forums in pdf-1.pdf
Class not registered.
Similar message if I download the link and try opening. Never had a problem opening links until today.

note: Edge is not my browser, Firefox is the default.

Edit: All of my saved.pdf files open no problem in "Edge"

I opened it with IE and got the popup bar, I clicked open and it opened with my default - Edge

Same here.
Opened fine with Edge.

Update: Just tried again, it now (no changes) opens in Edge with no .pdf registration.
