Formating microSD card

For microSD-HC or XC, 32 or 64GB,
should I format it as Fat32 or exFAT format so that Android phone can recognize it?

Mine (64GB Sandisk extreme plus) are formatted exFat in the device I am using them for. Just put it in and format it in the phone. That way you can be sure it will be read in the phone as well....

Your best bet is to use your phone to format the card.

I always make it a point to format an sd card in whatever device I'm using it in.

If you wish to move large files like apps to the SD card then use exFAT & don't choose default file size but the largest option from the list. If you just want to move music & pictures then FAT32 is OK.
I use exFAT & have moved apps over 600Mb to the SD card.
