Firewall software Needed

Hi I am looking for a firewall type software so that I can block entire network and only allow desired applications to access the internet. I searched some applications and also try some of them. Glasswire is best that suits my need but there no free version. Is there any similar softwate or full working glasswire software. Plz help as I am on a limited data plan and background data consumption hits me hard.
