finding files

when I open my file explorer can I please see all the files in there

I suspect you are seeing the Quick Access view of File Explorer. Depending on what files you want to see, you can change the contents of the Quick Access menu. For example, if you want to see all of the folders and files in the C drive, right click (or touch and hold) on C in the left column and select Pin to Quick Access. When you open File Explorer click on C in the Quick Access menu and the folders/files will display. You can remove items from the Quick Access menu by right clicking on the item and select Unpin from Quick Access.

You can also scroll down to C in the left column and left click (select) to see all of the folders and files.
