Files in OneDrive not available

I have a hard drive that won't boot. I installed a new drive on the pc and connected the old drive to a USB box. I'm trying to copy the files in the old OneDrive folder from the old drive but it says "12/9/2021 4:53:19 PM Unable to move F:\Users\JG\OneDrive\Pictures\20200505_153308.jpg: The cloud file provider is not running"
These files are not available online anymore so how do I recover them?

Try entering "cloud file provider not running" into a Google or Bing search. Several suggestions there.

 

[Trouble]

Have you tried simply opening a browser, going to https://onedrive.live.com/
And logging into your onedrive account and obtaining it from there?
