When attempting to install the January security update KB5034441 on Windows 10 LTSC 2021 (21H2), the update fails with error 0x80070643. This update can only be installed through Windows Update, so there are no alternatives for installation.
The error often indicates insufficient space in the Recovery partition. Although I have created a default Recovery partition size of 750MB (with the minimum required being 250MB), I still encounter the error.
I’ve tried increasing the size of the partition and copying the Winre.wim files to the newly created partition, but the error persists.
I’ve also attempted using a default 1.5GB recovery partition, which also resulted in the same error code.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
