Model: A7000|Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi.
Router's frimware is : V1.0.9.64_10.2.64

Must be a setting, just not sure what.
PC is a desktop running Win 10.
Arrias Surfboard is the modem.
With ethernet (cat 5E) cable from the router to the PC, getting 0.92 Mbps.
Then tried moving the cable direct from the modem to the PC and got 82 Mbps -so a hundred times improvement.
So its not the desktop (also tested a Chromebook - but that was like 0.75 Mbps).
Any idea what setting needs to be changed in the Routers settings?

Since you have shown the direct connection gives normal speeds on the Internet then it must be something after the modem which would be the cable to the router or the router itself.

if you look at the Ethernet link speeds, what do they show? Since the number is for you local network, it may be different then the Internet speeds. Do you run any Bandwidth managing software, either from your ISP or something like SmartByte?

The router seems to have the ability to give priority to certain types of traffic, such as gaming or possibly video. If so, do you see any settings, such as QoS, that could be adjusted if you were using a Speed testing utility?

What is your actual ISP speed, around 80 Mbps?
