I have been trying to find out in DriverUpdates by Slimware is a good software program. It states that it is a Micorsoft partner but that can not be found. Not to long ago they sent me an e-mail that state Windows 10 update KB4056892 has caused some issues with their software and has attached a their link to solve the issue which has made me very suspicious. I can't find and help online except articles on how to remove this software from your computer. Any thought on this DriverUpdates b Slimware program.

No....none of those so called driver update programs are any good......as they tend to do more harm then good. By that they install wrong driver or old and outdated drivers.

Also, as you've found out the hard way, the software doesn't liked being removed. They tend to install additional and unwanted software as well. Another part of the issue with software like that.

Another vote for removing driver update software - Windows 10 does a very good job of keeping drivers up-to-date, but more importantly there are checks to make sure it's fully compatible.

There are a handful of exceptions, for example manufacturers like Dell have their own driver update software which includes Firmware updates, etc... NVIDIA also prompt for driver updates, which may be handy for gamers.
