DIRECTV2PC stopped working after win10 upgrade

Before the upgrade I was able to watch saved shows from my DirecTV receiver using DIRECTV2PC. After the update, DIRECTV2PC reports a problem with copy protection (I will upload a screen shot of the message). I've removed and reinstalled the NVIDIA driver for my video adapter and NVIDIA control panel reports my monitor correctly and says my setup is HDCP-capable. Windows control panel Device Manager reports a generic PnP Monitor - not the Asus LCD monitor that is actually installed. I suspect this is what DIRECTV2PC is looking at. I would like a way to tell Windows 10 what monitor I am actually using so I can get the proper driver installed. Any suggestions?

Have you tried disabling "display scaling".
It would seem that, that may have worked for at least one Win10 user.
