Desktop icons disappeared and cannot right click on desktop after cleaning keyboard

So I cleaned my keyboard without realising my laptop was still on, and I basically mashed the keyboard when i cleaned between the keys. I don't know what key-bind I pressed and I can't find it anywhere online that has worked yet. My desktop Icons have all disappeared, and I can't right click on the desktop. When i check in the desktop folder in This PC, all the files are still there, so they haven't been accidentally deleted or anything. How can I restore the icons and be able to right click again?

If that doesn't work, remove the battery and hold down the power key for about 10 seconds.Then replace the battery and restart.
