Default Programs Control Panel

I try to send a file to someone with a right click and send to Mail recipient but I get an error saying that I need to create an association in the Default Programs Control Panel. Where is it in Win 10 or how to I access it?

what kind of file and how big is it ?? many email provider have a limit on size for attachments. It might be better either to ZIP it or use a cloud service like "one drive" or "google drive".

It is not very big. Also, the error msg doesn’t show anything about the size. It says I don’t have a default mail selected.
