Cursor disappears in Skype logon screen after Windows 10 upgrade

I have Acer Aspire 5750-6872 laptop. After upgrading to Windows 10, when I moved the cursor into the 'Microsoft account' or 'Password' field on the Skype logon screen and left-clicked on the mouse pad, the cursor does not show up for me to enter any data. I also noticed that since upgrading to Windows 10, I cannot use the mouse pad to scroll the screen up and down by sliding up or down on the mouse pad. Instead I have to move the cursor to the rightmost column and left-click to move up or down. I hope someone could help me on this and thanks.
