I'm looking for opinions, best practices on creating system disk images.
I create disk images on a regular schedule using an external USB drive.I usually keep at least 3 images and delete the oldest image when I create a new one. My question: Other than speed and disk space for backup imaging, Is there any advantage using incremental image backups. My fear with Incremental backups is that if one of the scheduled incremental backups goes wrong and isn't valid, won't that screw up the whole restore process if an image restore is necessary at some future point.
Disk space on the external hard drives is not an issue.
Thanks!
