SOLVED Copy and paste ability disappeared with last week Windows update ...

I use the copy paste feature often and since update last week, It's disabled...Flash 4 appears when I paste.
How can that be restored?

Hi, Thank you for responding.
I left clicked and scrolled over what I wanted to copy, then opened an email and pasted it there or wherever
I wanted it.

Try highlighting it and selecting Ctrl and C to copy it, then Ctrl and V to paste it.

Have you tried the new feature in Win10 where you press the Windows key and the V key to see what is in the Clipboard? If not used before it may need to be activated once opened.

Also the Select of text has additional actions along with the mentioned action such as right-click the selection and Copy or click Edit then Copy.

There was another update...and this morning the function is working. I appreciate your help, so much, and will save your responses to experiment with and for future if it happens again!
