Convert files from PNG to jpg

Hello, suddenly there is an issue when trying to convert a (photo) PNG file
to a JPG file. For 15 years there were no problems, why now?
Do one have to buy a file converter for ca USD 50 in the Store?

Keep up the good work and have a nice one this summer...
