Hey there,

I was just about to buy a game on the Windows Store using my American Express card, but when I hit 'buy,' I got this error message:
"Contact us at Microsoft support
We’re having trouble processing your payment and we’d like to get it sorted out."
What's going on here? I've never had any issues buying things with my American Express card before! This is really frustrating.

Is the card still current in that the expiry date isn’t coming up? Sometimes if a card is due to expire that can cause problems.
Check with the card issuer to see if it’s been blocked.
Can you try a different payment method?

It's not blocked and it's not due to expire. It's driving me crazy! I tried a different payment method but I still have to find a way to use my card here.

They may not take AMEX, have you thought about that?? I had never a problem with VISA...
