I am trying to run a clean install on a system that has been upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. The procedure runs smoothlessly up to about 30 %, then, without a warning, a rollback begins, and in the end, only a meaningless message is displayed according to which the clean install could not be completed (I can see that myself, Bill!) and no data were changed. There is no clue to what is going wrong.
Is there any alternate way how to get a clean install?
