I have recently re-set Windows 10, the system getting slow and not always acting properly. This has cleared the problem and the system works much better.
A problem I now find is that File Explorer cannot find the CD drive, thus I'm unable to reinstall Office - I've a shed load of e-mails I cannot access. It is some time since I used the disk drive, so I'm unsure if it was working pre-reset or not.
I have gone into Device Manager to drive removing the drivers, as suggested elsewhere on the internet, but the CD drive does not appear there:
I'm in no way technical - loading Office from a CD is as technical as I get! - so if somebody could talk me through in words of one syllable (or less ) where to go next, that would be really appreciated.
Thanks.
