Hello all. My computer was stuck in a Automatic Repair loop and I was unable to fix it. I decided to reset my pc but keep my files. Anyway, as I was about to click this option, my cat jumped onto my keyboard and chose the option to reset but remove everything. I pulled the battery and removed the hard drive but am unsure what to do now. I want to keep those files. I have my son's homecoming pictures on there from last night and no backup.

Suggestions?

Wow.... that darn cat.
My suggestion would be to attach the drive to another Windows machine either externally with a USB cable or internally if that is an option using SATA interface and power cables (that is usually faster).
Copy your critical data (usually your profile folder C:\Users\YourUserName off onto the second computer or another reliable external resource like a USB Drive.
