Card Reader In Laptop Wont Upload Photos From Sd Card Slot

Hi I have tried inserting my card into slot , I get message , connect a device and try again.
it wont read the card. can anyone tell me why...? lost with this one. joe.

 

[Trouble]

It may be that you need to install a driver in order for the card slot to work properly.
Check with the computer manufacturer's website and see what they have in the way of recent drivers for that card reader.
