The computer seems to be functioning otherwise, but the message box in the middle of the screen makes it difficult to do other work (or play). The message, however, changed from "no cd in the drive" to "the wrong volume is in the drive". I ran a full scan with McAfee and it found no virus. Now what??

Sounds like an application is starting up and looking for something it can't find.
Clean boot the system and see if that provides any relief from the problem.

I have also having similar problem but having wmpnetwk.exe error on Windows 10. I get the solution online by searching term on google. I have mentioned link of website that helped me to get rid of this trouble. Hope, it will work for you.
