can't see optical drive after installing windows 10

I can't see my optical drive after installing windows 10. It does not show up in file explorer, this pc or anywhere else either. I have rebooted several times, it just isn't there.

if you cant get to your cd /dvd drive go too your manufacture site for the motherboard and download the chipset etc. drivers worked for me I downloaded all my drivers for the motherboard as well while I was their
