cant print or save to pdf

wondering if anyone can help me here,

since upgrading to windows 10 I have not been able to use my print primo pdf - keeps saying system errorr and file path not regonised system win 32.

saving or printing using microsoft print pdf comes up as error;


c:\users\claire\Downloads\Filename.pdf
File system error (-2143322111).

how can i save my files to my dropbox location as needed. as so far i cant save anything.

I'm using Windows 10 with 'Adobe Reader' as my default PDF Reader,
I just tested my 'Microsoft Print to PDF' by printing a pdf energy statement, an E-Mail & a .txt file,
all three worked ok, check your 'Control Panel' / 'Devices and Printers',
you should have an icon for 'Microsoft Print to PDF', if you do :
right click the icon should give you :
'Printing Preferences' - (choice of Portrait & Landscape - 'Advanced' : 'Paper size & Copy Count)
'Printer Properties' - ('General Tab' see below, 'Sharing Tab' not supported,
'Ports Tab' bottom option PORTPROMPT Local Port Microsoft XPS Document Writer is checked/ticked,
'Advanced Tab', 'Colour Management Tab' & 'Security Tab' I left as default,

back to the'General Tab' there is a 'Print Test Page' link (bottom right),
this gave me a Test Page PDF file I saved to my Desktop (by choice)

If you're trying to print from a web page, try using IE or Google Chrome as your browser. I had the same problem as you (getting the System 32 error). I was using the ms Edge that came with Win 10. Changing browsers solved my problem. Good Luck
