cant find ''disable enhancements'' in conexant speaker options

theres an annoying volume spike when changing programs. I use speakers that plug into a jack in my laptop and it gets identified as a headphone where I was able to disable enhancements to remove these sound spikes. but for some reason it automatically changes to speakers and the option goes away. i attached a screenshot of what the speaker properties look like in enhancements tab.
