Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook

Upgrade Win 10, Outlook no longer working. Following message appears, then Outlook closes.

Cannot Strat MS Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window. The set of folders cannot be opened. File access is denied. You do not have permissions to access the file ..... <my dir>\outlook.pst

Have tired outlook / safe and the reset tip on other forums but nothing working.

Anyone have a solution ?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Browse to the folder containing the outlook.pst file that you are using and right click the file and choose properties.
Select the "Security" tab and check your permissions for your account specifically
Edit or add as needed.

Thanks, this enabled me to get Outlook running. It still didn't connect to my Outlook.pst file but I can fix this by resetting the account.
