Cannot run "check for updates" from the search window

Hello.

New PC with a fresh W10 Pro installation. After cca 10 days I cannot run anything from search window with the cogwheel or "toothed" wheel on the left including for example "Check for Updates","Windows Update Settings",... It doesn't react to my mouse clicking at all

I have to use "Setting window" (Control Panel).

Click on Settings
Then Update and Security
Then Right Click Windows Update
It will ask you if you want a short cut
If you do
Click YES
Resize it
Then Pin it to Start
