Cannot download anything from the Microsoft Store or update Windows, plus Error 5: Access Denied. How can I fix this?

Whenever I try to update Windows, it fails and says, "Something is wrong. Please try again later."

I've had this issue for months and haven't been able to find a solution. Windows updates won't install, and it takes forever to load. Additionally, I can't download anything from the Microsoft Store, including the Xbox app and other apps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
