Hi Anthony, welcome to the forums :).

Could I just double check that the filename is correct please, as I can't see any reference to that filename other than this post in search engines. Also, what does the full error message say?

Hi Ian, thanks for the help.
The following is the full version:
C\WINDOWS\System32\wlidrov.dll is not designed yo run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the programme again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the sofware vendor for support. Error status Oxc0000006.
I have already reinstalled the programme using the original DVD but the same problem.

Which version of Photoshop is this? Is it fully patched? If it's a very old version, it may just be a compatibility problem. Also, which version of Windows 10 are you running (32 or 64 bit?)

As I can't find anything during a search for that .dll filename, I'm a little suspicious of the file (although it's probably fine, it's unusual for Google to turn up zilch with regards to a filename). It may be worth checking the .dll by uploading it to here (https://www.virustotal.com/) and see if it comes back clean.

Can you browse to c:\windows\system32 and then find wlidrov.dll, right click it and go to properties > details and then post a screenshot of the information please. There may be something there that will help identify the problem.

That image reflects wlidprov.dll
A different dynamic link library and a common .dll present on all Windows 10 machines as far as I know.
Can you confirm the original error message just to be sure about the .dll mentioned in it.
