Although I'm very happy with the Fall Creator and cumulative updates, the cumulative updates are coming too fast for my liking. And whats with all of the Adobe Flash updates? Adobe seriously needs to get of their butts and enhance their security.
I've just changed my settings (gpedit.msc) back to delay updates and features for 30 days.

I slept while 1740 was downloading and got up expecting great things. When I don't want it to restart, it does so any way and when I want it to restart it waits for me. I pressed restart and went away for a while and came back to "Restoring". This has gone beyond irritating!

My first computer update went smoothly but my second computer with Build 17025, having not been used in awhile, has decided it needs Build 17035 before it will try for Build 17040.

I checked my 3 SSHD drives with HHD Restore and they are all perfect so the fault is not in my computer. Come on Microsoft get these 17040 and 17035 builds fixed please.

More wasted time. Tried 17040 again and it completed pretty fast but was back to 17025 again. Next time updated to 17035 and it did not allow 17040. Naturally that did not work either and made Ditto not work either. I have decided that North Korea has taken over the Windows 10 program and is attempting to drive all early testers CRAZY. Microsoft get some good people!

I'm not having much trouble except with 3rd party software with my older computers, Dell Optiplex 755 and Dell Inspiron 530S SFF. I'd be curious to see the stats of whether the most issues are with newer hardware.

Like you, I'm using some pretty old, low spec hardware
Intel Dual Core (not core 2 duo) 3.0Ghz, with 4 gigs of RAM and an old MSI motherboard with an old 250 gig spinner.
I've managed to step through the last few Fast Ring updates without any issues, including the latest 17046

The only issue is that with this hardware the update does take a pretty long time.
I've noticed that they've added some icons to the start menu

In addition to the normal power, settings and user icons.
