Might be just another rumor, but....

Makes me think that something is going on.
I guess time will tell.
I did notice that when I recently did a wipe and clean install of 14388, it installed like a normal Windows 10 install and not like a clean install of an insider build. I had to go in and turn on "Get Insider Builds" and I noticed that it activated without issue, like it was a legit full version of Windows 10. IDK.... just seemed odd to me.
I think that might be an indicator that things are pretty damn close.

That is what I have read, also trouble. Not RTM

I understand 395 is being signed off early next week, and for some quirky reason, rumour is that MS love the 400s for full releases.

But, in its present state, I don,t see a lot of significant changes coming between now and next month

They normally use even numbers. Can't MS use 14390 and just have a Cumulative update to fix any issues?

Which even number? They have already passed several.
It is just a natural flow.
AQs you know, an escrow mean that a particular branch, which may have had a proble, has been finalised and awaits integration into the full program
Since the build you have just downloaded, there have been three, and possibly more in the offices, which are being fixed up. Currently on 391.1001
As they work these branches into the , eventually, finalised release, the number goes up progressively. I would say that they are aiming toward 400 for the final August release.

I care not what the number is on August 2nd. Insiders will get it some day this week.
