Bugs after Win10 upDATE -- upgrade worked fine

I upgraded to Win10 and loved it. Then there came an update.. which took 4 hours to install. After the installation, my computer freezes and crashes. I also can't upload photos from my Nikon Coolpix, which I could with Win10 before this update.

My husband installed the same update on his computer and he has no problems. Is anyone else having problems with the update? And what can I do?
