Bookkeeping Software

I am not tech savvy, nor very familiar with Micrsoft 10. I need a bookkeeping software program that will allow me to input names, addresses, and amounts of donations for the year. Does M-10 have an app or option that will allow me to do that?

The OS itself (windows 10) does not. You could try the MS Store for an approved MS App. Or just do a web search for what your looking for.

Just off the top of my head is Quick Books from Intuit.

I coded a book keeping application years ago in Java that would fit the bill.

Check the MS Store first but if you can't find anything that suits let us know and I'll see if I can unearth it from my old backups for you.

I'm Treasurer for our church and use QuickBooks which works fine but for the tracking of donations/tithing/offering our Secretary uses Church Helpmate which has a feature for providing donors with IRS data for their tax filing. Helpmate has been an installed program but seems they are going to subscription-based online soon if not already.

We use the function to record donations by check or envelope/cash with names but not the anonymous cash in the collection plates.
