Bluetooth removed from laptop

I had an issue with my Bluetooth, so I tried to fix it by uninstalling the adapter. However, it hasn't automatically reinstalled as expected. Even after restarting my computer and scanning for hardware changes, the Bluetooth doesn't appear in Device Manager, even with hidden devices shown. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
