i Have an old Amilo Li 3710 which I use as a second computer updated fron Win 7 to Win10 22H2 with the hdd changed to an ssd. I started to change the Bios Legacy to UEFI in order to try Win 11 from a bootable usb. Halfway through the computer switched off leaving me with a black screen and flashing cursor. I can get into the boot menu but the default settings and every other menu item fails to work. I don' t really want to get another motherboard for a 15 year old laptop but would appreciate any suggestions and advice on a possible solotion, short of "bin it". Thanks.
