BitLocker recovery key missing

My laptop is booting up and asking for the BitLocker recovery key. When I log into my Microsoft account on another device, the laptop is listed under my devices. However, when I select to manage BitLocker recovery keys, this computer is not listed.

Where can I find the recovery key?
