Automatic Optimum connection

If I disconnect from my network for some reason my computer automatically connects to Optimum WiFi which is open and unsecure. If you click on that wifi network you can chose to uncheck the box that says "connect automatically" but the system just puts the check back in and connects again the next time this happens. How can I prevent the system from connecting me to that automatically?

what version of W10 are you using?, try a full system upgrade which may fix the problem if you are running an older version. Have you done all your updates as there were a couple of big ones recently?:
