I bought an Asus X553M about a year ago, and all was well until about 4 months ago. Now, after several hours from booting, it suddenly drops my wifi connection. I go to my settings and click on Reconnect, and get a message that it is unable to do so. My only solution is a reboot. The problem is not with the router/modem as my PC, Windows Phone, Nexus tablet and several other items, all still have a solid connection. I tried connect a DLink so as to bypass the built in unit, and exactly the same thing happens.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of the drivers, run sfc/ scannow and the Memory Diagnostics, plus run several anti-virus cleaning programs that dig deep (including rootkits).
Any and all suggestion will be welcomed, as I have now reached the end of my knowledge line (which isn't pro, but is far above the average user).
