Aol contacts

Sorry to hear about the contacts problem.
I was under the impression that AOL stored such things for you in their cloud / online storage.
Not being an AOL user, I can't say for sure. Have you logged into AOL since the upgrade to see if your contacts exist there?
I might also suggest that perhaps if the contacts were stored locally for some reason that you check C:\Windows.OLD that folder may hold some items that you are currently missing.
