Every single update without fail the same thing happens. Tap to click gets turned on and my ability to turn it off gets disabled till I reinstall an older driver that has that option. Please STOP forcing this down your users throats. I paid extra to get REAL buttons on my laptop as I want my touchpad to only move the pointer not have edge scrolling or tap to click or twist and summon glory or whatever other "helpful" features you feel we need.
Another update, another reinstall of obsolete drivers because I HATE TAP TO CLICK!

Your post will usually not be seen by Microsoft programmers, forum is not part of Microsoft and we volunteers never see or know if anyone from Microsoft visits.
As for the touchpad all Notebooks of the last 20+ years have the feature along with the 2 buttons for left and right. Tablets are a different thing and some Notebooks can make use of the Tablet Mode.

Ah my apologies then I thought this was an official forum. I doubted it would be seen by programmers but I hoped someone official would. I know its a feature and that many people like it what aggravates me is I turn it off then an update turns it back on and hides the option to turn it off.
